Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata var. genuina) is a very sweet heavy floral aroma that is used in many natural perfumes. It has a scent profile similar to neroli. Ylang Ylang is very potent in aroma, so use sparingly as it may overpower a blend. It is calming and helpful in sleep and anxiety blends. It may also be useful in pain blends due to the beta-caryophyllene content.
Chemistry: germacrene d (15.24%), b-caryophyllene (14.36%), benzyl benzoate (7.42%), geranyl acetate (7.06%), e,e-a-farnesene (6.80%)
