Our handmade Pine Tar soap is very popular with our local in-store customers, purchasing several at a time because they swear by it's effectiveness. The lather is smooth and creamy. It has a somewhat medicinal terpene-like aroma. Those with sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, and dry skin conditions benefit from Pine Tar soap. The pine tar that we use is American sourced and tested to be free of contaminants. It has chemistry similar to Tea Tree oil (alpha-terpineol and  terpinolene) with skin supportive fatty acids such as oleic and linoleic.

Texture: Smooth and creamy

Ingredients: saponified oils of olive, coconut, organic sustainable palm, and organic castor, naturally retained glycerin, pine tar (American origin), organic shea butter, organic scotch pine oil, mineral oxide colorant, and vitamin E (non-gmo)

For years

I have been buying the pine tar soap for my husband for years. Prior to this soap he’d have rashes and skin was a mess, dry flaky it cleared his skin up and so clean feeling he said. It’s the only soap he will use. For myself i have enjoyed every bar I bought and the body scrub is awesome. Keep up the good work and making awesome products.

Eliminates rash from heat and humidity

I bought this soap to help with a skin rash that formed along my bra line from heat and humidity. The doctor prescribed a cream to treat it. Even after using the cream as directed for the period of time on the packaging, the rash was still there. My friend brought me into the Pompeii St. Store knowing my affinity for homemade soaps. I stumbled on this one and said "what the heck, the cream didn't work, I'll give it a go" I could not be happier. The fungal heat rash was disappearing after a couple days, and gone after a week! I now keep this bar in stock for the summer months, just in case. Plus, this (and all the soaps I've tried from Pompeii) leave my skin feeling soft and smooth!
