Shelf Life: 18 -24 months (if refrigerated)
Cultivation:  Certified Organic, USA
Skin Types: All Skin Types
Uses: Facial Toner, Diaper Rash, Sunburn Relief

Known for centuries as the "healing herb," Calendula is a wonderful choice for addressing mild skin wounds and common ailments such as skin chafing, dry skin, diaper rash, sunburn, and more. Also referred to as "Pot Marigold," the Calendula flowers have been widely incorporated into first aid and skin care products.  In the form of a hydrosol, Calendula is great when misted on delicate skin and when used in compresses and facial steams. Replace toner in your facial regime with calendula hydrosol to moisten the pores prior to lotion and stabilize the skin's naturally acidic ph.

TO USE: Mist over face after cleansing to restore skin pH and quench pores prior to a daily moisturizer. Dilution is not required. Allow to air dry for maximum benefit.

SAFETY: Safe to use topically on pets and children to alleviate mild skin irritations.

ABOUT POMPEII STREET HYDROSOLS

When plant material is distilled in a copper still, two products are generally produced, essential oil and hydrosol. Hydrosol is the water part of the distillation and carries an abundance of therapeutic properties. Because this is the water part of the distillation, it is not as concentrated and dilution is not necessary. You can use hydrosols directly out of the mister bottle for an abundance of skin care applications. All our hydrosols are certified organic and cultivated and distilled in the USA for Pompeii Street Aromatherapy. Rose is the only exception since it was distilled from certified organic roses in Bulgaria. The distillation techniques used were to achieve the highest quality, therapeutic hydrosol. Our Hydrosols are NOT byproducts of making essential oil. They have all been distilled exclusively for the hydrosol.
