Lemon (Citrus limon) essential oil has an authentic tart and fresh aroma. It is a natural airborne deodorizer when diffused and can support the immune system when inhaled regularly. Topically, it is a naturally astringent to the skin and may be helpful in areas of swelling or water retention. Lemon in laundry can help whiten and brighten without the use of chemicals. It is also a natural degreaser, making it ideal in homemade cleaning products. Cold pressed Lemon oil is phototoxic and care must be taken when added to blends for the skin. Read usage details below.
