Eucalyptus globulus is a camphoraceous and stimulating aroma. Its most commonly used for respiratory issues (as are many oxides). Use in a steam inhalation, diffuser, or inhaler to prevent illness during the cold and flu season. Eucalyptus helps break down mucus while being cooling and cleansing for the respiratory system. It is also beneficial to rub (diluted) into sore muscles and it blends well with other essential oils.

SAFETY
For external use only. Do not use essential oils near infants. It is not recommended to use 1,8 cineole rich oils on or around young children. Use extreme caution with asthmatics as the opposite effects may occur.
Alternative respiratory health oils for children and elderly include Frankincense, Cedarwood, and Rosalina. Also consider blending Eucalyptus globulus with skin friendly oils to achieve a lower 1,8 cineole content in your blend.
For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Always dilute essential oils before applying to the skin and keep away from mucous membranes. Consult a licensed physician if pregnant or nursing. If the oil is past it’s “Best by” date or stored improperly, it may cause irritation and lose therapeutic value. Avoid the use of essential oils near infants and small children.
