Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) essential oil is a great choice for any skin related fungal issues (think athlete's foot). It is also insect repelling. Always dilute Lemongrass oil when applying to the skin. It contains a high percentage of citral (geranial and neral synergy), which can be skin irritating if not properly diluted.

Chemistry (batch specific): geranial (41.02%), neral (31.23%), geraniol (7.83%), geranyl acetate (4.21%)

The Freshest Scent of Clean

I threw out all the toxic can aerosols and now make my own fresh, healthy and better scented sprays. Lemon grass mixes with many oils...especially lavender and peppermint to make the Freshest bathroom spray and mixed with other oils with cleaning properties like tea tree and oregano oils to make a solution to freshen up the bathroom. At bedtime I use lemongrass and lavender with ylang-ylang in a spray bottle and freshen my linens for restful sleep.
