Sweet Basil (Ocimum basilicum ct. linalol) essential oil is distilled from the leaves and stems of the well known culinary herb. It is a top choice for spasmodic issues such as muscle cramping or spasmodic coughing when applied topically. Many of our regular customers have praised it also for the relief of stress headaches when applied to the temples in a carrier oil. It smells herbaceous and authentic.

Usage

For skin application, add just 1 drop to 1 teaspoon unscented lotion or organic carrier oil and gently massage into the skin as needed for muscle spasms or tension headache relief. Consider pairing with peppermint for a cooling effect or lavender for calming.
