Use nutmeg in topical blends for arthritis or pain associated with joints or muscles. It is warming and can also be helpful with nausea or stomach issues if applied in a lotion to the abdomen. It diffuses nicely in blends with citruses, conifers, and other spice oils.
Do not exceed 1% for skin application. We recommend starting with just 1 drop of essential oil to 1 tablespoon of unscented lotion or carrier oil and gently massage in skin as needed to relieve muscle pain or improve circulation. Consider pairing with a skin friendly pain oil such as Balsam Copaiba.
