Eucalyptus (Citriodora) Essential Oil
Eucalyptus citriodora (also called "Lemon Eucalyptus" and not to be mistaken with the respiratory oil, Eucalyptus globulus), is by far one of the most effective oils to repel insects. It is the main ingredient in many commercially available natural bug repellents and has more citronellal than citronella! Due to the high aldehyde content, Lemon Eucalyptus is helpful with fungal issues, calming pain and cooling hot skin. Note: This is a distinct species of Eucalyptus, not a blend of Eucalyptus and Lemon essential oils.
