Cardamom Essential Oil (Discontinued)
Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) essential oil is the dominant aroma in traditional spiced chai tea. The essential oil chemistry (esters and oxides) makes it useful in respiratory blends as well as muscle cramping and digestive upset. Because it has a lower 1,8 cineole content than many other oxide-rich oils, it is considered safer to diffuse with young children or to apply topically in the form of a chest rub.
Chemistry: terpenyl acetate (37.84%), 1,8 cineole (31.81%), linalyl acetate (5.50%)
