Black Pepper (Piper nigrum) essential oil is one of our favorites to use in pain blends because it is warming and contains beta-caryophyllene, a molecule that gives black pepper analgesic properties. Use in very low dilution as it may be a skin irritant if not properly diluted.

USAGE
Best used in blends for pain or muscle spasms. Pairs well with Bergamot for a restless leg lotion. For skin application, start with just 1 drop to 1 teaspoon of unscented lotion and gently massage in skin as needed.

If the oil is past it’s “Best by” date or stored improperly, it may cause irritation and lose therapeutic value. Avoid the use of essential oils near infants and small children.
